The TruCare Difference
TruCare seeks special and unique individuals who have the heart required to be called Caregivers. They choose this line of work not for recognition or riches, but for the sense of fufillment and accomplishment they receive when caring for others. All of our caregivers are insured and bonded and must successfully complete an extensive screening process prior to being placed in your home. This includes:
- Personal Interview
- Criminal Background Check
- Competency Testing (prior to hiring and annually thereafter)
- Reference Checks
- Health Screening (prior to hiring and annually thereafter)
In addition many of our caregivers are Certified Nurse Assistants and have training and experience in speciality areas such as Alzheimer's, dementia, arthritis, hospice care as well as mental and physical challenges. We encourage our employees to complete continuing education.
All caregivers that provide direct care work are employees of TruCare and are protected under the state and federal unemployment compensation and workers compensation statutes.
